Energy chains (E-chains)
Overview














Energy chains (also energy chains, e-chains or drag chains) are mechanical machine elements. They are there to guide and protect energies, data and impulses that have to withstand the most diverse environmental influences. The decisive factor in cable routing is the symbiosis of the components that move against one another. This includes cables, hoses, interior partitions, strain relief or guide troughs. The materials (materials) used must be optimally matched to one another so that the longest running times and service lives can be achieved. Energy chains avoid downtimes wherever energy is supplied to mobile consumers in the form of electricity, gas, air or liquids.
